$10.92 per hour (vacation pay included)

The Department of English requires a student to provide backup for the Department secretary and assist professors with research for the 2016-17 academic year.


• Answering the phone and directing inquiries
• Dropping off and picking up mail
• Filing, photocopying and other duties as assigned


• The successful candidate should be enrolled as an English minor, major or honours student
• Good working knowledge of computers, typing skills, and pleasant telephone manner
• Must pay attention to detail, and good written and communication skills

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
