Applications are invited for one part-time undergraduate student research assistant.


The successful applicant will assist in general laboratory duties including, but not limited to, behavioral testing and histology preparations.


• The position is most suited to a senior student with previous experience in a research lab environment
• Completion of at least three neuroscience-related courses is required and familiarity with in vivo animal behavioral assays is essential 
• The successful candidate must have successfully completed the UPEI on-site training session in animal use and care and must have experience working with live animals in a research laboratory 
• The successful student must possess good communication skills and be able to function effectively in a team environment
