RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist in and carry out a coastal ecology experiment testing adaption in a beach/dune plant. The research will involve greenhouse work, field experiment set-up and maintenance and habitat surveys on the north shore of PEI, and data collection and data entry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate(s) should have completed at least two years of a Biology undergraduate degree, and have an interest in plant evolution and ecology. Students must be willing to work outdoors in all types of weather, and demonstrate patience and attention to detail, and have a valid driver's license. All interested candidates are encouraged to apply, but priority will be given to students with an interest in the Biology Honours program.
Depending on the availability of funding, two positions may be available.
