Applications are invited for a summer student to assist with updating, organizing and compiling of the AVC equipment database.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The successful candidate will audit and update medical, laboratory, and research equipment data in the unit’s inventory database
• Duties also to include general organization of the unit’s operation as required (i.e. service manual library, parts inventory, office files etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The candidate must have good organizational, communication and computing skills
• Familiarity with database programming, computers, medical and laboratory equipment would be an asset
• Must have completed at least one year of University
• Familiarity with veterinary medical devices would be an asset but is not essential

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
