The Department of Economics at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor for the Fall Semester of 2017 for Economics 3050; Tuesday and Thursday 1:00pm–2:15pm. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

EC 3050 INTERMEDIATE MICROECONOMICS II
An extension of Economics 203, this course covers price determination in monopoly, monopolistic competition, and oligopoly models. Game theory, factor pricing, capita l investment over time, general equilibrium, asymmetric information, externalities, and public goods are discussed. The use of microeconomics as a tool in decision-making is illustrated.
PREREQUISITES: Economics 101and Economics 203
3 semester hours
