Dr. Lori Weeks, Department of Applied Human Sciences, is looking for a Student Research Assistant to work on a research project about supporting older adults in adapting to driving cessation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The student research assistant will assist with preparing survey packages to mail, maintain paper and electronic data files, enter data into SPSS and NVivo, and complete basic statistical and qualitative data analysis.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have completed his or her third or fourth year in Family Science, Child & Family Studies, Gerontology, or a related discipline. Students must have completed courses in Statistics and Research Methods. Knowledge of SPSS and NVivo computer programs are an asset.
Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
