up to 90 hours (total) per lab section

$16.97 per hour (includes vacation pay)

September - December, 2012 and January - April, 2013 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements.)

The Chemistry Department requires instructors to prepare, supervise and mark the laboratory portion of chemistry courses for the Academic Year 2012-13.
Supervision of Chemistry laboratories at the first year level (Chemistry 111-112); second year level (Chemistry 202, 221, 231, 272 and Chemistry 241/242/243); and third year level (Chemistry 322, 331, 342, 353, 361, 374, and other third year labs as needed). Duties will also include marking reports, submitting grades for the laboratory to the course instructor, and other duties as assigned by the course instructor or Chair.

B.Sc. in Chemistry. Experience in instructing the course for which they are applying is a strong asset.
