MTS Level 4 - Physiology and Cell Biology Lab Assistant
Part-Time Term Position
Hours of Work: 

15 - 20 hours per week (variable) to a maximum of 200 hours per semester. Must be available afternoons, Monday to Thursday

$20.59 per hour (vacation pay included), as per CUPE 1870 (off-scale)

September 2015 to December 2015 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements.)


Duties include:
• Attending Cell Biology tutorials and assisting students with material.
• Attending Physiology laboratories and assisting students in writing reports as well as the technical parts of labs.
• Assisting the course instructors with evaluating written work.
• Other duties as assigned by the course instructors.


• B.Sc. in Biology, with a strong background in Cell Biology and Physiology.
• Experience instructing Physiology labs.  
• Good scientific writing skills.
