The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UPEI is looking for a student research assistant to work on statistical analysis of time series data. The student will use MATLAB and EVIWES programming to analyze monthly and daily time series data. The training will also include reading of statistical articles on time series analysis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work on MALAB and EVIEWS statistical programming
• Organize statistical data
• Work on estimation and statistical inference with seasonal time series data
•  Interpret results and write reports on findings from statistical analysis

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Senior undergraduate student in a Science major with good Statistics background
• Good knowledge of regression analysis and statistical inference
• Experience using MATLAB and statistics software
