Hours of Work: 

37.5 hours per week (typically 8:30 am to 4:30 pm but may be adjusted)

$47,548 to $52,304 per annum as per CUPE 1870

 The Atlantic Veterinary College requires a lead hand client services representative to act in a leadership role within the client services group of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
• Make active decisions to maintain a high level of service
• Be responsible for all cash deposits, accounts receivable, and collections
• Coordinating the needs of the hospital service areas with the front desk services
• Maintain and schedule leave time and forms for the front desk staff
• Evaluate systems and equipment within the department and arrange for repair or replacement of equipment
• Assist in the assessment of individual work productivity
• A graduate of a relevant postsecondary program including medical terminology
• A 4-year degree in business or human resource management would be seen as a benefit
• 2 years of experience in a veterinary setting. Experience in a teaching hospital would be a benefit
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, and financial skills
• Ability to problem solve, develop documentation, and work as a part of a team
