The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking one undergraduate Research Assistant to assist with an NSERC-funded project on approximation and interpolation by entire functions

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The student’s role will be to become familiar with the relevant literature and the known techniques in the area
• To assist in extending the known results to address open problems and to write up the results which are obtained

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Undergraduate Student with a Solid background in linear algebra and both real and complex analysis
• Experience in writing up abstract mathematical arguments would be an asset
