The Chemistry Department requires a Research Assistant to assist with research projects in Materials Science with Dr. Rabin Bissessur.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

To synthesize nanocomposite materials based on layered systems and polymers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will have
• completed a graduate level course chemistry, and
• have experience with techniques such as powder X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, charge transport measurements and solid state NMR spectroscopy.

Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
