Hours of Work: 

10-15 hours per week (academic year) and 5-10 hours per week during summer months

$10.40 per hour (vacation pay included)

As soon as possible to April 30, 2014 (possibility of extension)

Maintain database of prospective international student contacts, respond to inquiries generated through lists on the website, telephone, e-mail or mail requests. Prepare large packages of recruitment material for overseas mailing. Provide tours of the Campus to prospective International students and other interested individuals/groups. Communication with International applicants regarding finalizing their applications, etc. The person in this position must continually update the database. Other duties as assigned. A working knowledge of Windows, Netscape and the World Wide Web, and experience working within a database program would be an asset.
Applicants must be full time student at UPEI and must be able to speak clear and fluent English. Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively and clearly, be professional and courteous. Must have a broad knowledge of UPEI programs. Good working knowledge of computers, typing skills and pleasant telephone manner, and attention to detail and good written and communication skills. Marketing skills would be an asset.
