The University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for the position of Women’s Basketball Head Coach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the Director of Athletics and is renewable on an annual basis.
The individual is responsible for the successful operation of the inter-university Women’s Basketball program including:
• Coaching the women’s Basketball Team
• Recruiting quality student athletes to the program
• Carrying out associated administrative duties
• Working with the department & support group to fund raise and promote the program

QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will possess a relative university degree and related coaching experience; effective interpersonal skills; ability to relate to students and administration; have the ability to work flexible hours, weekend work and travel; NCCP Certification a definite asset.
