The University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for the position of Women’s Basketball Head Coach.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The individual is responsible for the successful operation of the inter-university Women’s Basketball program including:
• Coaching the women’s Basketball Team
• Recruiting quality student athletes to the program
• Responsible for developing/implementing fundraising initiatives in support of the basketball program.
• Carrying out associated administrative duties

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will possess
• a relative university degree and related coaching experience;
• effective interpersonal skills;
• ability to relate to students and administration;
• have the ability to work flexible hours, weekend work and travel;
• NCCP Certification a definite asset.
