Clinical Nursing Instructor - Faculty of Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a permanent part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in primary healthcare, community, policy and hospital settings (as required). This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
Qualifications:
BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island (CRNPEI) and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise and recent experience in adult and community nursing required. Acute medical-surgical or critical care nursing experience would be an asset. Previous experience in clinical supervision of students would also be an asset.
Term: August 25 to April 25, Annually
Winter: NURS 4020 – Integrated Clinical Experience II
3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
22.5 hours per week
Fall: NURS 4010 – Nursing and Population Health
3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
22.5 hours per week
Start Date: January 2, 2019
