The Department of Political Science at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor for the Fall semester 2017. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

POLS 3090-4 - Strategic Thought and Issues in International Security
This course introduces students to the key concepts, theoretical debates and issues in the field of strategic studies. Emphasis will be placed on the ideas of key military strategists and current international security issues and debates involving topics such as nuclear weapons, humanitarian intervention, terrorism, and morality and the use of force. At the end of the course, students will have developed a stronger analytical framework for understanding conflict and international security concerns.  

Qualifications:
The Successful applicant will have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Political Science

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
