Drs. St-Hilaire and Speare at the Atlantic Veterinary College are looking for a student to assist with creating a computer-based case simulation model for teaching aquatic animal diseases to veterinary students and veterinarians.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The student will assist in the development and deployment of a template for online case-based simulations. Over the summer the student will develop two pilot cases from material provided to them by Drs. St-Hilaire and Speare.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Students in Computer Science or Education preferred
• Experience with Moodle content development using Lessons, and or other Learning Management Systems or Content Management Systems (Drupal, Wordpress etc) would be an asset.
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong oral communication skills
• Strong digital literacy skills
