Applications are invited for one full-time undergraduate student research assistant.

DUTIES:

• The successful applicant will assist in general laboratory duties including, but not limited to, rodent behavioral testing and histology preparations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
   
• A senior student with previous experience in a research lab environment.
• Completion of at least three neuroscience-related courses is required and familiarity with in vivo rodent behavioral assays is essential.
• The successful candidate must have successfully completed the UPEI on-site training session in animal use and care.
• Prior experience working with live animals in a research laboratory will be considered a significant asset.
• Good communication skills.
• Be able to function effectively in a team environment.
