The Department of Music at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for sessional instructors to teach the following courses during the Winter 2019 semester (January—April 2019). These positions are subject to final budgetary approval.

MUSIC 3210 / 4210 Special Topics in Music History: Foundations in Music Production
This course introduces students to the theory and practice of professional audio recording. Topics include acoustics and digital audio theory, sound reinforcement, studio and live sound recording techniques, audio signal processing, editing, and media production.

Qualifications:
The successful applicant will have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Music, experience in audio recording, signal processing, sound reinforcement, digital audio control/editing, and evidence of effective teaching at the university/college level.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
