The Environmental Studies Program at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a Sessional Instructor for the First Summer session 2016. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

ENV 224 – “Field Course in Ecological Forestry”

This course introduces students to the principles and practices of ecological forestry management. By combining theory-based lectures and an experiential learning approach at the Macphail Woods Ecological Forestry site students will gain a deep understanding of the forest and forest restoration efforts.

Successful applicants should have a university degree and practical knowledge of Acadian forest restoration on Prince Edward Island.

Please note priority will be given to qualified individuals on the sessional roster of the academic unit.
