Residence Sign-In Staff
Hours of Work: 

Up to 15 hours per week (nights and weekends)

$10.40 per hour (includes vacation pay)

2014-2015 academic year
Applicants must be available for scheduled work beginning as early as the first day of the fall semester (August 30th 2014) and, up to and including, the last day of the winter semester. Additional time may be required during examinations.

Residence Services is seeking Sign-In Staff for the 2014-2015 academic year (Sept.-April)


• Sign-In Staff are customer service representatives working evenings at the front desks in Bernardine Hall and Andrew Hall
• serve as a primary source of information and service for residents, authorized guests and staff within the buildings
• plays an important role in establishing a positive environment for all who live, work, and visit the residence community
• work in collaboration with Residence Life Advisors (RLAs), Security Services and the Office of Residence Services
• controls the sign-in process for residents and their guests, including the proper handling of ID cards
• required to file a report at the end of each shift   


•  Strong customer service skills, computer skills, and administrative skills are required
•  ability to work independently, as well as being a team player, is essential
•  knowledge of the UPEI Residence Life program, policies, and the residence facilities   would be an asset
• minimum 65% average on last two semesters of academic study. Confirmation required 
• full time student status for the 2014-2015 academic year. Confirmation required
