The Department of Religious Studies invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach the following course during the Fall Semester of 2016. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

RS 101 – “Religions of the World: Western Traditions”

This course is an introduction to the major living religions of the West; Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Attention is directed to the ways in which each defines and promotes human fulfilment. Various audio-visual materials complement the lectures to convey an awareness of the spiritual and cultural dimensions of religion.

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:30 – 10:20 am.

Successful applicants will have a Master’s Degree in Religious Studies.

Please note priority will be given to qualified individuals on the sessional roster of the academic unit.
