The Faculty of Education BEd, MEd and PhD programs include a wide variety of action-based, digital, multi-media, and arts-based projects, e-learning assignments, e-portfolios, web design, digital performance, and more. Students need support for these projects from a technical resource person with high-level technical, digital and media skills.
The student will be pro-active and collaborative with the Graduate and BEd Administrative Assistants to provide technical and digital support for BEd, MEd, and PhD students. The student will be responsible to the BEd and Graduate Coordinators for setting priorities, and responsible administratively to the Dean.


The Student Assistant for Technology Support will be recording, uploading, editing and coordinating technical and digital work by engaging with students.


•  Extensive knowledge & experience in the area of multimedia design
•  Strong organizational skills
•  Strong oral communication skills
•  Strong digital literacy skills
•  Strong visual design skills
•  Strong storyboarding skills
•  Ability to work independently
•  Experience with Wordpress, Drupal, Moodle, Google Apps, Pressbooks, and social    media
•  Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Audacity, and/or Screenflow would be assets

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
