Clinical Nursing Instructor - Faculty of Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a permanent part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in the mental health unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Long-Term Care facilities in Charlottetown or Summerside. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
Qualifications:
BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with CRNPEI and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in acute adult mental health and medical-surgical nursing required. Previous experience in clinical supervision of students would be an asset.
Term: August 25 to April 25, Annually
Fall: NURS 3230 – Partnerships with Client and Families Living with Chronic Illness: 3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) 22.5 hours per week, involves shift work
Winter: NURS 1020 – Foundations of Nursing II
Clinical days are Tuesday and Thursday
20 hours per week
