Faculty of Education is seeking applicants for one research assistant position to assist with a research project examining the impact of community service learning on international graduate students.


  • Prepare and conduct online surveys
  • Assist with data collection through surveys and interviews
  • Organize and transcribe interviews
  • Assist with research report writing


  • Must be currently enrolled in Faculty of Education’s M.Ed. Global Perspective Program
  • Must demonstrate experiences and skills in research
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research software (e.g NVivo; Google Forms; Lime Survey, Survey Monkey, SPSS, etc.) would be considered an asset
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Experiences with community service learning preferred
  • Applicants with additional language skills preferred
  • Applicants must possess strong cross-cultural understanding and competency
