A student research assistant is needed to help collect and analyze data on the topic of Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 professional learning in Environmental Education.  The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Lyndsay Moffatt in the Faculty of Education and will have the following responsibilities and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Transcribing audio data
• Performing library and Internet searches
• Analyzing and coding data
• Assisting in the writing of research reports

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required to be enrolled as a graduate student with the Faculty of Education.
• Experience with library searches and the collection of data for literature reviews
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Strong writing abilities
• Ability to work independently and perform tasks on short notice
• Familiarity with concepts pertaining to environmental education
• Familiarity with PreKindergarten to Grade 12 school contexts and professional learning in PreKindergarten to Grade 12 school contexts
• Some Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12 teaching would be an assert
