Tenure Track Position, Assistant Professor

The University of Prince Edward Island, School of Nursing invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level.  We are seeking candidates who are interested in joining a vibrant academic community with a commitment to excellence in teaching, an expanding program of health research, and strong linkages to community researchers and practitioners. Our undergraduate and graduate programs are founded on a philosophy of primary health care.  This position will involve teaching in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. This position is subject to final budgetary approval.

The successful candidate will have a graduate degree in nursing, a completed doctoral degree or significant progress towards a doctoral degree, expertise in child and family nursing with flexibility to teach additional course offerings, demonstrated excellence in teaching, evidence of research and scholarly work, and eligible for registration with the Association of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island.
