The Centre for Life-Long Learning (CLLL) supports academic departments and faculty members to extend their teaching and share their research, by taking care of logistics and promotion, and by creating a welcoming place at UPEI for all learners. As CLLL continues to create online education opportunities for learners in various contexts and disciplines, developing digital literacies for all members of the UPEI community has become a priority and student assistants are now required to further this initiative.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the E-Learning Instructional Designer at CLLL, the student assistant(s) will assist in the development and deployment of online and face to face training support materials focused around digital literacies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Students in Computer Science or Education preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong oral communication skills
• Strong digital literacy skills
• Background in tutoring would be an asset
• Experience with wordpress, drupal, moodle, google apps, social media, and video and sound editing software would be assets
