The Faculty of Education at the University of Prince Edward Island has an opening for a sessional instructor to teach the following course in the Winter Session 2019.

ED 5820-3 – ASSESSMENT OF INDIVIDUAL LEARNERS

Teachers are introduced to individualized educational assessment of children with learning needs and become familiar with a variety of assessment tools and their implementation.

This is a three semester-hour course offered on campus to students in our Bachelor of Education (français langue seconde) program in either French or English from January 3 to February 11.  This section is offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30am to 2:20pm.

Qualifications:

A graduate degree in education, a Bachelor of Education degree, and a successful record of school teaching in the K-12 context are required.  For applicants without school-based experience, teaching in other contexts relevant and appropriate to the position will be considered. In addition, candidates must be trained in Level B assessment.

In all instances, qualified applicants on the UPEI Sessional Roster of the Faculty of Education will be given priority.
