The Office of the President seeks an Administrative Assistant who is an experienced, highly organized, motivated person with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
DUTIES:
This position is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative support to the Office of the President. In particular, this role will have the following overall responsibilities:
• Management of the President's schedule
• Coordination of meetings and event requests, including travel arrangements
• Management of correspondence
• Maintenance of office budgets
• Perform general office/reception duties including all essential daily tasks, ordering supplies, greeting visitors, assisting with inquiries and related duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
The incumbent must possess the following skill sets:
• Successful completion of at least two years in a post secondary program related to the duties plus progressive related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and VRE
• Superior organizational, time management, interpersonnal and multi-tasking skills
• Comprehensive office management skills
• Effective communication skills both orally and written; must have excellent knowledge of grammar and composition
