The University of Prince Edward Island is inviting applications for a 5-month limited term position in Psychology at the Assistant Professor level beginning January 4, 2017. 

Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Psychology and a strong record of undergraduate teaching.  An established record of scholarly research is also an asset.   The successful candidate will teach undergraduate psychology courses from three of the following areas:  social psychology, adult development, health psychology, cognitive psychology and addictions.

The University of Prince Edward Island is a small-medium sized campus (full time student enrollment is approximately 4,400). As such, it offers unique collaborative opportunities for the successful candidate.  The Psychology Faculty are a team of dynamic, creative, and diverse educators and researchers with a strong commitment to the teaching and development of undergraduate students. The Department of Psychology offers a major in both BSc and B.A. degrees (Honors option).  A record of participation in /departmental/university governance, would be an asset.  This appointment is subject to budgetary approval.
