The Department of Music at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a sessional instructor to teach the following course during the Winter 2018 semester (January – April 2018). This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

MUSIC 117: Aural Skills II
This course builds on the foundation of Music 115 (Aural Skills I) and is designed to strengthen fluency in sigh singing and dictation while introducing more complex metrical, rhythmic, and tonal patterns.

Successful applicants will have at least a Master’s degree in Music plus evidence of effective teaching in cello at the university level.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
