RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Department of Biomedical Sciences invites applications for a position to provide summer support in the Department’s teaching program. The position will involve ruminant dissection, digital imaging, website development, as well as developing on-line course materials (including videos), for macroscopic anatomy. Website enhancement and video preparation for microscopic anatomy will also be an aspect of this position. The summer student may also provide support for other departmental needs, including preparing prosections and dissection specimens for macroscopic anatomy, developing case-based learning modules, and various duties in support of other courses as assigned by faculty
QUALIFICATIONS:
The successful candidate will have recently completed a dissection course in veterinary macroscopic anatomy, and will be comfortable with anatomical dissection and specimen preparation. The candidate should have experience in word processing, working with digital images, on-line literature searches, and website design/maintenance.
