Clinical Nursing Instructor - Faculty of Nursing
The Faculty of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island is now accepting applications for a permanent part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to undergraduate students in medical/surgical units at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Kings County Memorial Hospital. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.
Qualifications:
BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with ARNPEI and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience. Expertise in adult nursing required. Previous experience in clinical supervision of students would be an asset.
Term: Permanent Part-time 10-month position – August 25 to June 25
Hours of Work:
Fall: NURS 3230 – Partnerships with Client and Families Living with Chronic Illness
3 days per week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) with 22.5 hours per week, involves shift work
Winter NURS 2230 - Adult Nursing: Transitions in Health
3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday)
with 22.5 hours per week, involves shift work
Summer NURS 3100 – Integrated Clinical Experience I
April 22 to June 25
5 days per week with 37.5 hours
