Clinical Nursing Instructor
Permanent Part-Time, Eight Month Position

The School of Nursing, University of Prince Edward Island, is now accepting applications for a permanent part-time Clinical Nursing Instructor position. The instructor will provide direct clinical supervision to students in acute care and community mental health settings, including Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Prince County Hospital, Hillsborough Hospital and other areas of the Province. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.


BScN or BN, current registration or eligibility for registration with ARNPEI and at least 3 years of full-time clinical experience and expertise in acute and community mental health nursing. Previous experience in teaching and clinical supervision of students and in the field of addictions would be an asset. Successful applicants will have expertise in mental health/psychiatry theory and practice.

22.5 hours per week (days and evenings)

Start Date will be January 3, 2017.
