20.5 hours per week (This position will include evening and weekend work)

$39,498 - $43,462 per annum, prorated to time and term as per CUPE 1870 (salary under review)

As soon as possible until May 11, 2014 (Term may be reduced or extended depending on performance, available funding and departmental requirements.)

The Robertson Library is seeking applications for a qualified individual to work under the general direction of the Head, Reference and Circulation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for; providing services to The University's students, faculty and staff, as well as the general public at the Library's Circulation Desk, including orientation tours. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate flexibility, initiative and judgment, and to actively and positively contribute to the overall Library work environment.

Applicants are required to have a minimum of a Library Technician Diploma and at least 2 years of work experience in an automated library environment. A Bachelor's degree from a recognized post-secondary institution would be an asset. Applicants must have the ability to communicate effectively with Library staff and University faculty and students, excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
