The International Relations Office is seeking student assistants to carry out email and Skype communications with potential UPEI international students to provide basic information about living and studying in PEI. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initial contact with applicants via email
• Respond to inquiries from applicants via email, Skype, or Weibo
• Provide accurate information about living in PEI (i.e. finding housing, weather conditions, getting settled) and studying at UPEI (facilities/services available, campus atmosphere, etc.)
• Participate in a two to three hour training session

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3rd or 4th year international student
• Bilingual (English and French)
• Knowledge of French speaking countries
• Ability to work independently, and make sound judgments
• Demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills
