The Department of Applied Human Sciences invites applications for a tenure-track position in Foods & Nutrition. The appointment will be made at the Assistant Professor level. This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

Applicants will hold, or be close to completing, a doctoral degree in Human Nutrition or related field. Eligibility for registration as a dietitian in Prince Edward Island and membership in Dietitians of Canada are preferred. Candidates should have evidence of ongoing scholarly activity. Candidates must be committed to excellence in undergraduate teaching; the department is seeking an individual who can teach a wide range of introductory and advanced courses at the undergraduate level in the areas of foods and/or nutrition. The Department of Applied Human Sciences is an innovative, interdisciplinary department that offers undergraduate degrees in Foods & Nutrition and Kinesiology. We offer a number of practical options for students that include an integrated dietetic internship and field placements.
