The Office of Skills Development and Learning (Co-operative Education, Career Services, eLearning, and Professional Development) is seeking an energetic and self-motivated student with strong computer skills to perform general office duties and assist with a variety of projects within the Office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist administrative personnel as required
• Course/event support i.e. material production, food orders, participant reminders and follow up
• Assist with maintenance of the Office’s web site
• Prepare and post material in support of the Office’s social media profile
• Other duties as required within the Office of Skills Development and Learning

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful candidate will ideally be familiar with working in an office environment. This position requires strong computer, organizational, and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail, as well as excellent communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal abilities. S/he will also be able to work in both a team environment and independently.

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications is required
• Experience with Google Docs and Sheets is required
• Experience with Gmail is strongly recommended
• Experience with Moodle would be an asset
• Experience with social media platforms (eg. Facebook, LinkedIn) would be an asset
