Diagnostic Services at the Atlantic Veterinary College requires a Proficiency Program Coordinator for the VLA/AVC Proficiency Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the planning, production and manufacturing of all physical and virtual modules of a veterinary proficiency program
• Responsible for all quality assurance testing on final program products.
• Responsible for the packaging, shipping, and timing of delivery of all proficiency kits.
• Responsible for client management and customer service
• Responsible for maintaining the program web based reporting system.
• Responsible for producing reports
• Assists the Director with Marketing the Program
• Assists the Director with research and development of new modules, specifically molecular and virology modules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science Degree is required
• ISO 17025 formal training is required
• ISO 17043 formal training is an asset
• Business management training or equivalent practical experience is required
• Minimum of 2 (two) years relevant work experience
• Diagnostic Laboratory training and recent practical diagnostic laboratory experience are required with molecular and virology experience preferred
• Strong Interpersonal Skills are required
