The School of Sustainable Design Engineering (SSDE) provides students with hands on design experiences in each year of the program.  Students enrolled in the third and fourth year of the program complete Senior Design Clinic projects, solving a real problem for an actual industry client.

Under the supervision of the Industry Partnerships Group within the SSDE, the Electronic Portfolio (E-Portfolio) Developer will work with student design teams until the end of the winter semester to document the deliverables and challenges/successes of each of the seven Senior Design Clinic projects being complete this year.  Being the first year that E-Portfolios are being developed, the student will also be required to develop the E-Portfolio structure, enabling the capture of key project information.  The summer term will be spent developing this template and completing the E-Portfolio for each Senior Design Clinic project.

• Interviews with each project student team and project collaborators to understand the problem being solved.
• Testimonials from students, faculty, staff, and industry clients explaining their experiences with the project
• Design of interview, video, and E-portfolio templates to define a structure to present project information
• Completion of E-portfolios for the seven projects currently being completed by SSDE students for the 2016-2017 academic year
• Coordination with industry clients to gain approval for E-portfolio publication
• Coordination within UPEI for E-portfolio publication and ongoing management processes
