10 hours per week for 4 weeks - Nov. to Dec. 22, 2017. There will be some variability in the hours mandated by the course schedule, some weeks requiring 10 hours and others just 2 hours. Some weekend and evening work may be required.
Salary:
$11.70 per hour (vacation pay included)

The Philosophy Department is looking for a third or fourth year student majoring or minoring in philosophy to serve as a Student Assistant for Phil 205/Bus 213: Business Ethics (WEB course).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Reading selections of the class textbook,
  • Marking tests featuring short answer questions
  • Marking writing assignments of 1000 words
  • Marking a final exam featuring short answer and essay questions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Background in ethical theory or applied ethics or business studies is preferred
  • Must be dependable and efficient

Priority will be given to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
