RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research includes the following work on disease in 18th century Quebec: building a bibliography of primary and secondary sources on medicine, disease and Quebec; microfilm research and data collection; transposing and organizing French and English handwritten files from microfilm; correspondence with archival staff in Canada and France; basic quantitative analysis of medical records.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Student must be a full-time UPEI undergraduate student with History and Canadian Studies backgrounds.  Fluency in the French and English languages is also required.
Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
