Approximately 4 hours per week

$16.97 per hour (vacation pay included)

December 2014 to February 2015 (approximately 12 weeks)

A student research assistant is needed to help collect and analyze data on the topic of Kindergarten language and literacy learning in the context of a school gardening program.  The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Lyndsay Moffatt in the Faculty of Education and will have the following responsibilities and qualifications.

• Transcribing audio data

• Required to be enrolled as a graduate student with the Faculty of Education.
• Ability to work independently and perform tasks on short notice
• Familiarity with concepts pertaining to PEI kindergarten language and literacy education

Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
