The Department of Economics at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a Sessional Instructor for Economics 101, from May 15, 2017 to June 27, 2017.This appointment is subject to final budgetary approval.

101 INTRODUCTORY MICROECONOMICS

This course provides an introduction to the economic analysis of consumer and producer behaviour. Of particular concern is the role of the market in the allocation of resources and the distribution of income, and how these outcomes are affected by imperfections in the market system and by government policy.  Classes will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 7-9:30pm.

Qualifications:
Successful applicants will have a Master’s degree in Economics.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates with seniority on the UPEI Sessional Roster in the academic unit.
