The Department of Facilities Management is looking for an energetic student to assist with projects relating to sustainability and energy management on campus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assisting with sustainability and energy management initiatives on campus within various buildings that would include water consumption audits, water consumption tracking, lighting level audits, energy consumption comparisons, and energy audit verifications.
• The student may also assist in the implementation of energy retrofits on campus
• Other duties as required within Facilities Management.
• Other projects relating to sustainability and energy management as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be an asset.
• Experience using Google Docs would be an asset.
Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual. Preference would be given to students with an engineering or science background.
