RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The research assistant will become part of a research team exploring the use of iPads in a kindergarten mathematics classroom.
• The position involves travel to Morell Consolidated School in St. Peters (October 30, November 3 to 7 and 17 to 21 from 8 am to 10:30 am) to work with and observe kindergarten aged children using iPads to explore their mathematical thinking.
• Additional time may be required following the data collection period. This work will be completed on campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Student must be a full-time UPEI undergraduate student experienced using iPads.
• Additionally, the research assistant should have interest in working with young children.
