Dr. Shafiqul Islam , Department of Mathematics and Statistics, is looking for a Research Assistant on a research project with the goal of developing techniques for stability and control of dynamical systems.
The research student will help with developing a theoretical and numerical technique for stability and control of dynamical systems of deterministic and random dynamical systems. The research student will also review the literature concerning densities of dynamical systems.
The successful candidate will have strong background in Linear Algebra and Calculus. Knowledge of programming and ability to program in MAPLE preferred. The candidate must be in a Mathematics or related program.
Priority to University of Prince Edward Island students in accordance with Recruitment, Selection, Hiring and Employment Policies and Procedures manual.
