Up to 10 hours per week

$17.22 per hour (vacation pay included)

October 2015 – April 2016

The Department of Applied Human Sciences is looking to hire one, possibly two, graduate teaching assistants. This position will require a person who is organized, efficient, self-directed and who can work independently if necessary.


• Provide support in classroom and teaching laboratories.
• Mark assignments, tests, and exams.
• Other duties as assigned.


• Enrolled in a graduate program in the Department of Applied Human Sciences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, and actively problem solve.
• Knowledge of content taught in courses in the Department of Applied Human Sciences.
• Previous experience working as a teaching assistant will be considered an asset.
